Very harsh I must say. Davies is absolute quality, and it means you obviously don't know much about him, and Vorm is. Top keeper (what a back up). With 3 at least to follow is happy days (media main names) I am very optimistic. We cannot attract players the T4 can so we have to be realistic.

3 more? If so we have to shift out a lot (Hopefully the right ones)

Hopefully Schneiderlin, LWF (Jay Rodriguez?) and a CB. Striker only for me if Soldado or Adebayor are sold.

Can't see a depay/destro happening, but those are the media's "main names", unless I'm forgetting someone.

It probably won't happen but even if it did, he's not the answer. We need a top centre half with experience. Not a kid who we hope can do the business.

Agreed, but which "main link" has been about a CB recently? All seems to have dried up.

With all due respect to that particular snippet of ITK, I would certainly question it to say the least. They'll have valuations for both players and if they're met they'll be leaving, simple. Its not like Southampton have little time to get replacements in.

Its within nobody interests to keep a player who doesn't want to stay. A Club will only do that if the bids are nowhere near their valuation.

All I would like to see (after these two signings) is a good central defender brought in someone like the names that have already been mentioned eg Schär or anyone other than keeping Dawson( the guy is a spent force), and a left winger Depay or Griezmann( hardly likely). Hopefully the management uses this season as a bridging gap to next season, assessing the team, and allowing the manager time to address the problems we still might have.

That leaves 2 more. Interesting that he says media links as there haven't been may CB links. Depay would be Interesting. Looks like a nice solid window though.

I suspect the other 3 are Schniderlin, a CB (Dier?) and the Argentinean kid that ITK has linked us with.
If that all comes off we've had an excellent summer!

Sky Sports understands Tottenham target Ben Davies has passed his medical and he has travelled with Spurs to Toronto ahead of their next friendly. Tottenham are hoping to tie up the move for the Swanseadefender by tomorrow.

Agree. Schneiderlin looks like it will happen. A CB is critical and needs to be done soon.

Does Schneiderlin look like it will happen? Lovren to Liverpool would appear to be closer and haven't we had ITK that they would only sell one more? In a race to get a transfer completed, I certainly wouldn't back us! I don't actually necessarily think a club can say 'only one more' realistically, but I would think agreeing a fee over Schneiderlin would not be a quick process regardless, as they're likely to want £20m.

Fairly sure we will get these two. Then we need an experienced CB and a LWF who will get us some goals. I'd like Ron Vlaar and Kono/Jay Rodriguez, and I reckon we could get the two for less than £25m.
