Don't want to see him go but as long as all the funds go on player recruitment and not the stadium....
We have mate.
Who? (not disagreeing just interested)
If we sold Modric for £31m, add that to the £18m for Pav and Crouch and the £21m we'll get for Bassong, Kranjcar, Pienaar and Corluka and we've got £70m to spend.
Moutinho - £15m
Huntelaar - £17m
Ade - £13m (incl. signing fee)
Verts - £10m
Leaves us £15m spare for maybe a new GK and we're happy as larry.
He did, Infact he put it in large bold capital lettersI am pretty sure he replied to me "We are not having a DOF can I make it any clearer"
Or words to that effect anyway.
I would imagine our list for Modric replacements would be as follows:
Sahin, Moutinho, Cabaye, Kovacic and ......Seedorf on a free
You mean Larry White?!! I'm just getting used to the idea of AVB!!If we sold Modric for £31m, add that to the £18m for Pav and Crouch and the £21m we'll get for Bassong, Kranjcar, Pienaar and Corluka and we've got £70m to spend.

Modric to Real for £31m and then blow that on Cavani or a world class striker.
Sahin, Moutinho, Cabaye, Banega, Javi Martinez perhaps.

As long as it's well spent, I'd be happy. But considering our front line for next season consists of Defoe, Kane and Lancaster a striker is needed and for the past few seasons we've excelled in most areas except up front. With a 20+ goals a season striker we'd be right up the top end of the table, no doubt about it.i agree but funny. id be more than happy if new manager gets half that cash and butys 2 players out of it.
im just hoping this takeover talk is for real and then maybe we can afford to spunk on a world class midfielder and forward.
For those hating on moutinho, he just had an excellent excellent cross that ronaldo scored off of
