It does by why would we need a cryptic for Eriksen? He's probably the most linked player of the window so far that hasn't signed other than maybe Spence

The song's all about someone who's been in prison and has now completed their sentence and is returning home but only if he's wanted. Eriksen makes sense, but It sounds like Bale to me as well - especially the prison sentence bit. I doubt it's him though .

You say that but I’m fairly certain in the Brotherhood of Man’s version they changed the lyrics to ‘it’s been 2 and a half long years’ !
