That snippet from Dragon about not getting too swept up with Bastoni seems like it was spot on. Good that we have multiple options and like we saw with Deki, sometimes missing out on 1st choice turns out to be a blessing. Our defence was looking really strong by end of last season, not getting our top CB target doesn't seem like such a blow to me.

I'll be honest mate, I think they need to be thrown around like confetti at the moment. Breaking the rules by spamming shit sources all over the transfer forum every time your phone goes ping deserves a wtf rating at the very least. Regarding aggregators all they need to do is click on the quoted source and post that instead, and there are no issues.

I think it's the only way forward. People seem to care more about the ratings they get, than following the rules which keeps the threads open and easy to understand.

Not sure this is true. Paratici spent his life in Italy and working with the media, whilst there are many bullshitters out there. I am sure some Italian journalists are getting real information with Paratici and Conte both at the club and us shopping in the Italian market. Romano is as good for Spurs as any of our local journalists and he is focusing on the whole world of football. I wouldn't be surprised if he has a direct relationship with Paratici that is beneficial to both.

Indeed, hence I said 99%. Di Marzio and Romano are reliable, as are a few others. The rest are not.

Delighted to hear this. Sentimentally I’d love to see CE back after everything that happened, but his performances were outstanding since he returned, he knows spurs and he knows conte, and he fills a gap in our squad. It’s a no brainer if we can pull it off

Love this. Hope we can get it over the line. It's not even a nostalgic move. He's an incredible player and his return would give Conte so many new options. It really would level up the squad.
