Why, because he isn't a big name?

- Because he isn't a break through teenager anymore. (only a year younger than Eriksen)
- Couldn't even break in a West Brom team
- We are competing for the League and to do well in CL, i'd rather not bank on him and look elsewhere to improve.

Some great ITK to wake up to! Thanks JJ! Would be nice to sort Batman out before the Euros.

Prichard was excellent on loan for Brentford 2 season ago and was unlucky with injuries last year.
Kane didn't do as well on loan in the championship and we all know how he has turned out :)

He went to West Brom on the back of an injury hit season and he got injured again when he was there. Also you don't need to be a teenager to break through, didn't Mahrez teach you anything?

There are others we should look to sale before Pritchard leaves.

Hopefully Harry get his deal done right after the Euros

West Bromwich was the wrong team for him. It's difficult to break through as a playmaker when the team you're at don't play or as a midfielder when they bypass the midfield.

I understand what you're all saying. I just believe someone who is not much younger than Andros and who has achieved SIGNIFICANTLY less than what Andros has may not be the best fit for a team which is competing for league titles and Champions League glory.

But what we do is that the club handed him a new contract whilst Andros was allowed to leave. Think we need to trust in the management more, they've proved us wrong many times already.

If Pritchard is fit and gets a whole pre season under his belt then I think we'll see a different player next year and one that will add something to the squad. WBA was an odd loan move, Pulis not the right coach to take him on - Howe or Martinez ((on the basis he sets teams up to play football) would have been much better.

Doubt Eriksen is going anywhere, he seems to enjoy it here and i think some in here are woefully downplaying his role in the side.

Levy to have a Whopping Wednesday next week and announce Nike, Stadium and Kane contract in same day?

Good news re Eriksen, Kane and Pritchard, I don't think he'll be pushing Eriksen straight away, but he certainly has the talent to make his mark when given the opportunity.

Just hoping for news on Mr Lamela now. Want him signed up too.

So, reading between the lines of JJ's little snippet :

A CF, 2 midfielders and then maybe another attacking player or a CB in. Maybe Caroll, Mason and Chadli out.

I expect a lot depends on whether we get proper like for like cover for Dier. If so, I don't really think we need another CB.

Its great the Pritchard is getting his chance by the sound of it. I hope he's as good as we all hoped he would be. His age and loan this season don't really matter, he could be a late starter.

Let's not put too much pressure on him as fans though, we've all seen it happen before. These youngsters start out as the messiah then when they don't live up to our unrealistic expectations people turn on them.

Tom Carrol anyone?

So are we saying Kanes new contract is just a wage hike and no extension and one of those contracts that doesn't require an announcement?

Pritchard's recent injury history is the big concern for me - that and the massive step up from the level of football he's played up until now. We certainly need a bit more creativity around the box though since without Eriksen we look devoid of ideas a lot of the time.

LOL run Eriksen hard for his spot...seriously?

Yeah I don't agree not because he isn't good enough to push first team, he is - But Eriksen's role in the team is nkw changing and hes now forming into a deep lying playmaker, he's picking up the ball much deeper and he starting to dictate the play which is another reason why he's a key player and is vital that he stays.

There is something about Pritchard when he plays where you can tell he has a footballing brain if he gets he's chance next season I think he will take it but it next season has to be a good season because he is not getting younger because if he becomes the player I expect and hope then that is a one less signing we need

Pritchard has had quite a few injuries in the last couple of years so let's hope they haven't done too much damage. I'm all for giving him a chance but I don't see when he's going to get it and also I worry about his size, he's smaller than Carroll and there was enough people moaning about him being too lightweight.
