As a signed up member of BSoDL can I just point out that transfer windows need to be assessed at end of window. Fear a few of you will have limp dicks by start of season. Some of us will see how season pans out. Dont expect too much.

I think Herc's information makes much sense and is par for course. Clearly Levy knows that this summer is a critical inflection point. He either rises to the occasion, or there are consequences. My fingers are firmly crossed that he's motivated to placate the manager, and then in turn, the stars on the team waiting to see what happens.

I'm a reluctant optimist by trade.

As a young, handsome, earnest man decades before, I was obsessed with literature. I read the greats: Dostoevsky, Dickens, Hemingway, Pam Ayres. Anyway, I remember reading a novel by Hemingway called For Whom the Bell Tolls- a gripping novel about the Spanish Civil War. The ending was so sudden and bleak that I refused to accept it. Believing the edition I had was printed incorrectly, I demanded mother drove me into town so I could procure a different edition with a happier ending. I managed to find one in the library and found the exact same depressing ending. I was mortified that such terrible outcomes could ever be likely that I reasoned Hemingway's nihilistic conclusion was designed to warn us of being complacent. I learnt two valuable yet painful lessons that day: firstly, to eliminate bad outcomes, one has to consider the worst but plan for the best (something Daniel will surely be aware of with the new stadium) and secondly that mother since then has always judged me to be a twat

Shit or get off the pot it is then. All ITK in alignment.

What is it going to be Levy?

I'm still calm, never have the stakes been so high or the solution so clear. Time to pay the piper.

Come on the only fans we’d lose would be plastics. You don’t need to like your club or the custodians at some given time but you don’t stop being a fan because they do a bad deal.

Wouldn’t of lasted 5 mins in the 90’s-00’s

I was talking about losing faith in Levy, not the club
