WPD659 - you have been saying announcement for a week now. Keep guessing, you'll get it right eventually :)

in fairness to him i thought he was the first to say these deals weren't done when all the itks were saying that they were.

I was about to come in and say 'I bet there'll be alot of wailing and gnashing of teeth after last night's result' but I see that ship has already sailed, reached it's destination, dumped it's cargo, been reloaded and sailed back again before sinking out of pure boredom at the predictability of such a reaction.

Keep it together people. Just think that in just over a week's time you will either be able to:

a) glory in an excellent end to the transfer window with us selling the 'deadwood' and replacing them with the two strikers, one winger, one central midfielder and one centre back that we need.

b) piss and moan till your heart's content about the disastrous window, how Harry should be sacked and how Levy should be strung up from Seven Sisters station by his balls.

Hooray!

.....that we will!

Besides, for the best part of 70 minutes we were capable of getting something, yes plenty of 'if only's' but 3-0 didn't tell the whole story. Up to that point we looked like a proper side even with a depleted squad, we have a good bunch!

If the Adebayor deal falls through where does that leave us. The ITK on other decent strikers has virtually dried up.

How ironic that our immediate future success appears to hinge on a guy we've continually verbally abused since he came to England.

To be fair m8 it hasnt been tottenham holding up the deals as my last post says! And that is the reason my source keeps being told one day then it changes! I was the first to tell everyone the problems with the adebayor and diarra deals wheneveryone else was saying there were done!

Thanks that is the only news cheering me up today ! But after watching the disaster last night we badly need a new spine .Have you any ITK on a defender ?

Tbh i hvnt all i have been told is they are lookin for a CB and the four names are samba (who is injured), cahill , and jagelika and mark beevers of Sheff wed who we have been scouting for a while now but he is not a first team replacement just a talent for the future. But tbh adebayor and diarra deals taking alot of resources to get done so prob will have to wait till after them deals.

Man City are right to want assurances, they want Ade gone.

I can't help thinking Harry's comments to Talksport made City think again and want to restructure deal. Didn't he say its a no brainer as its just a loan, if he plays up we just send him back...?"

For the first time this window I have recognised the fact that we need a winger. So lets hope the journalists info which he has stuck to staunchly is correct.

If Levy cant find a way through this and get the player when its pretty obvious we're desperately in need of a top class striker then I will be extremely disappointed with him

Very hard to give assurances to Man City about next season, when he is on such a high wage. The transfer fee or lack of it won't be a problem, the stumbling block next season will be Ades wages. This season, fine, they are paying half. Who pays what next year. Levy cwertainly isn't going to agree to that and rightly so.

The hold up now could be with Ades reps about next season. Which will not be straight forward.

I was thinking this, when he was saying it. Another case of Harry being too honest with the media, and leaving us vulnrable.

This is looking more & more like a deadline day showdown by the club. In a funny kind of way a 3-0 supposed drubbing could of been the best thing that could of happened, may ease the purse strings somewhat.

Not holding my breath for signings prior, in or out

Do think we will get someone though.....

Last night certainly highlighted that we need 2 strikers, because if we only get 1 and he gets injured we're back to no firepower and toothless.

Just hope to goodness we have a few back up plans in place if the ade deal does fall through, that doesn't involve the likes of Zamora or CC Eek

Oh and morning btw..

And that is the reason i was told with the hold up and why the deal is taking so long to get done! DL will not commit to next year yet wants to see how he performs and see where harry is this time next year no point promising to bring in a player on huge wages if harry isnt here and the new manager doesnt like that player. We are saying that if all goes well and manager still wants him we will pay the 10 mill for player and give him a big sign on fee and man city to pay compemsation package to player as well! But man city want us to agree to some sort of compensation deal around to pay them if deal does not go through end of season to give them some assurances that we will go ahead with deal and buy him at end of season! They rele dont want him there at all! And they need to prove to ufea there income can match there outgoings that why they want assurances to help them with the ufea FFPS.
