We've hardly been tearing up the Champions League though have we.

This whole window seems to be heading towards yet another case of one step forward two steps back. Bring in some brilliant midfielders and a top quality striker, then sell our star player, fuck up the replacements, and leave our forward line disjointed and as creative as a brick.

Anyone who thinks we'll keep Bale when we inevitably miss out on Lamela is dreaming with their eyes open. We'll probably spunk the cash on Johnny Average and his mate Danny Deadwood.
Johnny Average has been tearing up the Ryman league for years though & Danny Deadwood is underrated.

Come on Spurger, there's a chance we'll be alright!
Baldini is in the house!
If the window shut today we'd be in great shape.
If we sold Bale & it shut we'd be OK.
If we sold Bale, replaced him with someone better than Clint Dempsey, we'll be in good shape.
If we sell Bale and buy Lamela, we'll win everything for years! ;)

The time to throw toys is traditionally the day after the window shuts & i'll throw them just as hard and just as far, but hang in there: We might not fuck it all up.

On SSN right now:

They have just built the stage inside the Bernabeu that they used to unveil Ronaldo. Live video images of the stage were shown. The stage wasn't there last night (as Raul had his testimonial).

Ronaldo new contract - see out this career at the bernabau?

Probably to show off the signings they have already made (Isco etc.) to the fans. They do it every year before the first game of the season I believe. Not solely for Bale, if he has indeed sealed his move by then.

Very nonplussed about that. If the price is right he MAY be a good buy, but I suspect it, and he, won't be. Not what we need either is he, although if we get rid of Ade and Defoe we definitely need a backup striker.

Doesn't really strengthen our XI much for the outlay - unless Soldado get's an injury perhaps.

Think it has to be someone who can also play wide or no.10.

Surely we can wangle a Morata / Rodriguez loan.

They must be unveiling Suarez.

I'm not convinced GB will leave right now. Him leaving and AVB not getting in adequate replacements and this could go ****ybooby in an instant. From the POV of Andre throwing a major shit-fit this time at being left short-handed if nothing else.

I'm absolutely convinced this is exactly what is going to happen. I expect Bale's departure to be announced over the weekend, whilst our transfer committee scratch their arses wondering what the hell they're going to do to replace him.

As good as this window has been, I can tell it's going to end on a massive downer that will probably leave the players and manager asking some serious questions about our commitment to building a successful team.

Shows how much I pay attention to La Liga.. -.- I still think it's to officially unveil the new signings to the fans, and not just for Bale as people want to make out.

Just a thought (whatever this sounds like I'm NOT slagging ITK'S off!) Mourinho made a quip that "medicals should be done in secret" now we know for a fact spurs did not release a statement about a medical, it was not on the official site. We all got wind of it through ITK'S, which is probably where the press picked it up from...could it be our own ITK'S have inadvertently given info away to Chelsea?!? OMG!

Although more likely Kia whatshisface probably told them. Interesting theory though...

You've said that to me on several occasions but I've never singled out Levy for any of this. I admire the brilliant things he's done for the club, so how about reading my posts and formulating an interesting and legitimate response rather than this pathetic, incorrect, and boring drivel?

I think we all need to remember how good this window's been for us. Before Willians name was even mentioned as a target we were all over the moon with our signings. So we may lose out on one of our targets. So what? We move on and carry on building.

Even if we don't get Willian and GB leaves we still have a great squad and money to spend.

We don't want to start sounding like spoilt Chelsea fans because we didn't get a player we wanted.

We are Tottenham and bigger than any single player.

Well just take comfort that if we fuck up the remainder of this window then its no different to any other then is it.
