On 606 now one of them is claiming to have a picture send to them which shows diarra outside WHL, he says he will post it later....

Large dosage of salt needed IMO

I think the date on which the photo was taken may be relevant...

I don't think Klaas Jan Huntelaar is the second striker. It wouldn't make a whole lot of sense to sign another finisher if we signed Fabiano who is essentially exactly that (and having Defoe and Pav already we would end up with only finishers of varying abilities).

I think it will be a loan.

I think it will only be after CL.

I think it will shock almost everyone.

Oh and as for Diarra even this morning I still don't get it. Not one bit. I don't think he is that much of an upgrade and he has this mentality where he keeps moving to get regular football rather than actually knuckling down and trying to force his way into the team. If he really wanted to make it at Chelsea, Arsenal or Madrid he could have stuck at it. Most players play their whole careers for a chance to be at a club like that and he has given up the fight every time.

He left Chelsea on a free because he didn't prove to them that he was worth keeping. He left Arsenal after 6 months because he was in a battle with Flamini for first team football...seriously?! I mean Flamini is good but you have to think Diarra would have put up a bit more of a fight considering that Arsenal had a lack of anything else resembling a DM. Wenger was even happy to let him go and considering he was young and French that has to tell you something.

I think he has very questionable character and again if we are going to bring in a midfielder I would rather take a less talented one with a better attitude not someone who will duck out of the challenge if it isn't all laid out on a plate for him. When the going get's tough Diarra goes running and he'd probably want a first team guarentee with us and that would annoy me.

I hear what you are saying and I think it's a valid point (for what it's worth), but is it not his character flaw that makes him stand out as a good signing for Harry? I mean HR knows how to manage this type of player, how to put his arm round him, to motivate him, to make him feel wanted etc. I think this is a Harry signing and I think he'll know how to get the best out of him.

I think we need a back up for Wilson and need to give Sandro time, if LD fills the void or helps us now or inbetween especially with all the games we'll be playing (over optimistic?) then I think it's a shrewd (potential) loan deal.

Plus he should be someone that adds quality, strength and depth to our squad.

Fabiano and KBH would be a major coup for this window. But I just can't see us getting both. It's not very 'tottenham' to completely smash a transfer window.

A sudden large change in odds usually means that a betting company has got a some info, a continual fall in odds in congruent with a large amount of bets
