Hope so, been keen on this for a year. Free and sensible wage. More of an AM though but has been playing DM this season. Could be a good fit for dembele replacement

Meyer is an attacking midfielder, now turned into a good defensive midfielder in the new Schalke system by their new manager. The young German striker is likely Jann-Fiete Arp at Hamburg

Personally, signings aren't signings until they're announced & not doing it leaves open the possibility that one or other of those involved will change their minds.

1) 100% with you. Don't believe anything until it is announced.
2) The transfer windows exist to register players not necessarily complete deals. Deals can be signed any time (as evident last year when City announced several players to join once the window opened). I've worked places where deals were set in for years and everyone is under an nda until it can/is planned to be announced.
