If Jasper's ITK from the other day is to be believed, Levy isn't overly concerned with securing a top 4 place. With CL qualification comes increased expectation and a greater pressure to invest in maintaining that position.

If that was the case then Harry woul still be employed in N17 IMO

i still expect a quality signing of possibly 2 through the door, I cant believe Levy has not learned from the right royal fuck up of last January which was a major contributor to the failure of not getting 3rd place.

Don't worry, Levy has learned from his mistakes in previous windows, and is looking to do business earl... Oh wait.

Though to be fair, Fryers and Holtby was secured early, but that striker really should have been secured at the time Ade left for ACN!

Could the fury wee animal be kind enough to clarify whether our interest in Hooper is for this window, or are we indeed scouting for down the line - like Suter was alluding to.

I was still expecting a Sandro stand in, Holtby and a striker. Maybe even Callejon on loan as has been mentioned, though hopefully in addition to a striker, not inplace of.
However, I'm prepared to revise my expectations. I'll forgo the DM since we have parker, and Luvermore could fill in, so long as we sort Holtby and sign a much needed striker.

The goat bleats!

Hooper maybe a shot after all... I hope we've been watching him in the CL. Not sure the SPL provides a good enough view.

This was my thought the other day. So, we don't rate the SPL as a place to justify his ability, but he's scored 4 in 9 I think in CL, maybe a better indicator. Neither for or against him personanlly, thouigh would rather have someone with a bit more a physical presence up top given our supply line coming in from wide areas, but I'll reserve judgement for now and see what happens making my opinion from Feb 1st onwards, whoever it may be. Incidenatlly, the fee will be interesting, I don't see Levy shelling out big on Hooper, but recently he was being touted for inclusion in the England squad.

After last window's 'plan D' (Dembele and Dempsey) are we going for 'plan H' this time, (Holtby and Hooper)....

I always assumed that to be the case but our latest accounts show that CL only added 12%...

That's a lot of money. Also, the exposure we got will not be a number in the accounts, it's all about future income and investment.

Dax - are you actually a spurned, secret ex-wife of levy's? You seem to know an awful lot about his cash habits, and the way you talk about it so negatively suggests to me that MAYBE your lawyer messed up and you only recieved a small shed and 3 packets of Haribo out of a messy divorce settlement with our short, bald adonis.

But we've all been spurned by football chairman. So we're here to help you hug it out big guy.
