So, ITK says two in (possibly three if Holtby is not one of the two).
We had some ITK on Negredo, Hooper, who else (that has not already gone elsewhere - M'Vila, Remy, Llorente, Sneijder, ...) is still out there?

So we all agree

Fuck Levy if he doesn't bring somebody in

and

Fuck Levy Hard with a Razor tipped Dildo if he does bring in somebody

unless it's Messi

I think we'd be hard pressed to find a person that wouldn't want Messi. But goddammit, if we had to, I know this group is up to the challenge.

Messi's not what we need, he's too small to hold the ball up and it's all very well playing in front of Xavi and Iniesta they make it simple for strikers, finally don't see him fancying it on a cold Wednesday night at Stoke facing Ryan Shawcross, overall I think he's just not up to what we need as our main striker :)

Best guess, Holtby is wrapped up and we'll try for one of Hooper or Negredo.

Yep, I get the impression we'll get Negredo if the price is right, if it isn't then plan B would be Hooper i'm guessing. I don't think there's a guarantee of either though.

Yay Goat! If I pray hard enough do you think 1 of the 2 in could be Isco?! We need a skillfull Spanish like Mata or Cazorla.

Isco - Just about to sign a new contract with large release clause (35m Euro) according to Sky sports website

It's funny what a transfer window can do to you. At the start I wanted Moutinho and Leandro, now I am praying for Holtby and Negredo. Bloody Spurs.

I'm praying for a couple of players who AVB has chosen rather than Levy found in the bargain bin.

Looking back, if you had offered me Holtby and Negredo and the beginning of the window then I definitely would have taken it.

I can't see any of our rivals majorly strengthening. That'd give us a massive boost.

Been thinking about the Hooper speculation, like many of you I can think of a few strikers around the world I'd prefer. But hearing 8 million being banded about as a possible fee, I think if we could get him for around 7 mill it could be good business. The lad clearly knows were the back of the net is, and when you look around at the prices strikers are going for, its not huge money. What would make it a great deal is if we could offer Celtic one or more of our cast-offs (Bentley, Jenas) as part of the deal. I know, wishful thinking but Celtic has been a club that has attracted these types of players before (Alan Thompson ect ect). Its just whether these players would sacrifice a bit of cash to play for what I consider a big club, or just sit on their arses milking their contracts.
