I see that Scott Parker's contract is up in the summer of 2015. He was born in October, 1980 which would make him close to 35 years-old then. Who would you expect to fill the holding midfielder role around that time? The main man I mean. Assuming both are here would that be Parker or Sandro? How about next season?

Parker has done well for the Club. But was such a long contract smart?

I imagine Parker and Sandro fighting for the spot until Scott's too old, with Livermore as back-up.
Know what you mean about Parker's contract, but perhaps he'd make an excellent coach when his time's nearly up? Otherwise we can freeze him out and he's probably driven/professional enough to want to move elsewhere!
