Euros - this was DLs plan all along. Now i know why he wasn't spending before he knew the exchange rate would get better and he could save a few quid on the conversion (1.1 to the £ in July last year, nearly 1.3 to the £ today!!) - now Europe is ripe for the picking and DL can save £47.20 on the deal for the Ajax lad, £84.37 on Remy and about £90 on LD. It was worth waiting, we're not made of money!!

I think that everything that happens to Spurs is related to the currency markets in one way or other.

Just asking the question, my colleague gets loads of info mainly city related, and occasionally tells me things that involve us. Generally the info he gets is spot on. But i agree with most on here, we can monitor all we like, we could not afford him, unless something dramatic happens like selling Modric for silly money

I'm not even sure we'll break our transfer record again this window. If we do I can't see it going above £20m. So we can forget the likes of Hulk. At a push we might break it with the likes of Remy or Leandro, but I would expect something around the £18m mark.

It's like every other window though, Aguero for example. We're always linked with these big money deals but they never happen. I can't see it happening until we move Stadium tbh. I would love to be wrong though.
