whats you're point? he's up against the same opposition, but gets more opportunities to do it becasue he gets more of the ball and is given the set pieces and as a LF is more forard more oftern than his teams are compared to lennons.

you need to just youtube a few lennon highlights to remind yourself what he can and has done, who to and in what context. I wouldn't swap the two for any money.

May i suggest AC Milan as a starting point.

For a start he hasn't got the anywhere near the same quality in player around him, thats a pretty big difference right there.

I would like him for competition for Lennon etc, not as replacement. On his day Lennon is one of the most exciting players in the prem.

I mis-read Hoof Hearted's ITK earlier. I thought he was saying we'd received 3 bids (assumed they were from Villa), but he seems to be saying we've placed three (with possibly two being accepted). I assume one is Vucinic, bit who would the other striker be?

Cover for full backs? Rose, Ekotto, Bale, Gallas, Walker, Hutton, Kaboul. Still plenty of cover in worst case scenario.

Sending a reserve to Reading on loan doesn't really constitute the commencement of a merry go round, unless it is a particularly slow and dull one.

He said before it would all kick off today/this week so maybe he is reffering to that.

I would expect Hutton, Palacios etc to move on this week with somebody coming in surely.

It doesn't actually. I hate this lazy suggestion that good players only stand out in shit teams...then you have the same people saying that others only look good because of those around them...ie anyone could look good in that side, the chances they creat etc...

Having to manufacture a lot of chances on your own against Prem defences is not be to sniffed at. I dont remember many of our players (VDV aside) using a bit of skill to win a game in the League.

I like Lennon, but N'zogbia offers more product - and conisistenly probably is a more threatening player.

However Lennon on his day wins hands down.

I think that would be great competition between the two of them and also if Bale is out or being rested he would cover the left flank.

A very good signing and for the figures being quoted, taking into consideration the inflated markert of today, I would bite you're arm off for 9 -10 million.

if we didnt have the back log of midfs id agree for the price worth a nab, but think we need to concentrate on our main targets that will make us a better team all round and not by a bit but by a lot!!

Have you ever been on a merry go round? That's exactly what they are, id prefer it if it heralded the start of the 'transfer spinning tea-cups', much more interesting (and accurate with regard to Spurs).

Back ot ITK, nobody really replied to my post about cover for full backs mentioned by HoofHarted.

Maybe we are considering that bid we heard about for BAE/maybe Charlie will be off if Modric goes?
