I haven't really watched Wigan many times, is this guy actually good? I knew he was highly rated, but thats about all I know of him

I have seen all their games this season. He's a class act as is Diame.

He is good but obviously would be back up. Looks to have potential. Scored that great goal a couple of months ago didnt he. Cant remember who against. If the plan is to replace Ohara, JJ, Palacios, Niko with parker & Mcarthy i dont think id complain. Both players coming in played lots of games last season and would maybe encourage redknapp to rotate more if he trusted the players he was bringing in. Get the feeling he doesnthasnt ever trusted JJ and doesnt trust Wilson anymore after his great start.

I was banging on about McCarthy before he signed with Wigan, we were (very) tenuously linked with him if I remember...

In other news, word after the ROI match last night is that Robbie is definitely off. Think newly promoted London team looking for experience. Wages and fee are a looong way apart though.

Is there a super injunction stopping you from naming the team? :shake:

Why would we not be interested in the highest goalscorer in Europe this season, and one of (if not the) best forwards not already at a G14 club, who would also fit in perfectly to our current system?

There hasn't been any credible ITK that has linked us to Falcao either.

Because his price will now reflect the fact that he is the highest goalscorer in Europe. Same with Rossi. Given our finances, we need to find these players before breakthrough seasons like this, surely you can undersand this?

Also, do you think he has the physical attributes to hold off EPL defenders and hold the ball up? Win the ball in the air? I know hes decent in the air but hes not massively tall and that really is an english CB's forte...

For the money there are a lot of questions.

Also, just because Harry follows ups leads it doesn't necessarily mean we're interested. He could have scouted the player and then realised he is not what we need.

I'd take Bent back in a heartbeat over the 2 so called England Internationals we have on our books right now.....

I work for the NOTW, sometimes I hear things through work. Like all things, pinch of salt, but I'm pretty sure Harry has been watching Falcao.
