Thank you all for your valued contributions. Deleted. Locked before we reach several pages of nothing.

@dovahkiin will either PM me when there's ITK or submit it to the Read Only at which point we'll open this thread and leave it open for the approx 45 seconds it'll take for some genie-eye to spam it again.

I like that we are repeatedly hearing about still looking for an RB. I truly don't want to see us in a situation of lacking fullbacks, it never really works out not thinking ahead for those positions.

Interesting that we may be looking for a right sided attacking player AND Barkley which suggests we might not see him playing for us in that position (which is where he looked good for Everton last season). Great to hear some positive ITK

Preseason form for a couple CBs should be taken lightly, but would not be against bringing in a younger veteran. I still think Dier's natural position is CB, which would then allow Josh to get more gametime in CM and if Barkley comes through than there is even less time for Dier in HIS preferred CDM role.

If the 3-4 targets in comes true than it says to me that "the youth will get some game time, but the stakes are too high to just hope they turn out". But certainly not holding my breath as we have all been here before.

I think even if we buy a new rb, kwp can still get some minutes at lb. Rose's injury record is worrying, and davies can't play all games (btw davies really improves a lot this year, credit to him and poch)

Good to see ITK re-emerging- and very much focused on the areas we need reinforcing. A&C's midday dump must have been of Ben-Hur proportions considering he was absent for four hours. Sudocrem might be required

This ITK makes absolute sense in terms of what we need. Wimmer out - better CB in. Replacement for Kyle and more options attacking wise - Barkley and someone with a bit of pace as well. Son and Lamela are not going to start the season and we have 4 competitions. The kids are exciting but mostly not ready as can be seen in the preseason games.

Yay, ITK. :) And yay, it's positive. :) And ties in with Levy's statement at the NASDAQo_O (haters gonna hate...)

Though I've seen a report that says we're out of the Pereira chase :(

These 3-4 signings seem to be just what we need, and I'd be happy with that.

RB - Pereira/Toljan or similar
AM - Barkley
CB - Mawson if Wimmer goes

All linked and I'd be happy with those.

Not sure about us being in the market for a right sided attacker though, maybe his opinion based on us originally targeting Zaha? Lemar was a target and is more of a LM. Son, Lamela and Barkley (if he comes in) can play RM, and in a 3-4-2-1 Eriksen plays there.

I'm thinking we'll be looking at either a pacey/tricky player than can play on either wing or a Striker/Wide Forward hybrid (similar to Josh King). I have a feeling the extra attacker is the Italy link from JJ.

Great to get some good ITK, thank you so much for posting!!

New RB seems likely and required, KWP will still get mins for sure! Remember we are playing in the Checkatrade trophy as well so some opportunities there...

Barkley has been a plan all summer so no surprises there..

I like Wimmer, and think he is a good defender, seems to be a popular guy at the club, but I'm not sure 3 at the back suits him, and with it being a WC year, he will want game time! For the right offer (£20m-£22.5m) I would consider selling.

The attacker is interesting...but curious to see if it means Right Sided in the essence that they are strictly a winger, or whether it is more of a Right Forward role, more of a striker type...

Will be interesting for sure!!

Think we will sign Pereira or Toljan, or maybe both! (As Pereira can also operate as a right sided attacker)

I think we will sell Wimmer, would ideally love to replace him with Jonathan Tah at Leverkeusen or Christiansen at Chelsea, but I would also be content with someone like Veltman for a cost-efficient option. Interesting to see Stefan de Vrij with 1 year remaining, would be a great Levy-Deal!

Mystery attacker...

I think the Italy info is an alternative to Barkley should that not happen in the end,

Levy is gathering info on several players in positions we are targeting and playing the waiting game. Makes sense unless you can throw endless amounts of money at it.

I guess the right sided player hinges on Sissoko going. Also as unlikely as it is, Lamela has been linked with a move away.

koeman has said today that Barkley is definitely leaving so you'd of thought that'll weaken their negotiating on the price presumably
