I'm not sure if Paul O'Keefe is allowed to be posted in here, so I posted in the Bastoni thread that he thinks our package is €67m including addons. Will delete this from here if not allowed
I'm pretty sure he's allowed in here mate.

I'm sure it's been said a thousand times but maybe has been lost lately but there's no better way to back your manager by putting a package together like that for a first choice target. Would be some business intent from the club!

Feels ultimately like we are waiting on Inter to move for Bremer as AC Milan are now lurking.

If you were Bremer would you rather go to cash strapped Inter, or just taken over and pretty flush AC if the package was the same?

I'm not posting this to bring on discussion of which is the better choice btw(so lets not go there), but if our buying Bastoni rests on them getting Bremer for the price quoted it could be pivotal that this happens very quickly to Inter before AC really push their case. I've posted elsewhere(not from new info mind, and I don't have any up to date information) that I still think this one has a good chance of happening. Still wouldn't be surprised if it's Torres we end up with though, because of how Inter opperate.

I think Inter will find €67m hard to turn down.

They need that cash desperately.

Yep, AC looks the prettier option but not sure how reliable but the reports say Bremer has had his heart set on Inter for a while now.

Isn’t getting bastoni to join the main thing, seems like we’ll meet the asking price judging by most things

I never know what to trust though. AC being linked maybe to pressure on Inter to get moving so Torino can find a replacement for Bremer. Chelsea being linked to another Inter player to put pressure on us to get moving for Bastoni. Who really knows what's going on. Surely a big package for Bastoni should get Inter to bite so they in turn can put a good bid down for Bremer.

Interesting if true, will have to move fast, Utd seem to be gunning for him pretty hard. Lots of news coming out of Portugal last few days that it’s only a matter of time.
Portuguese media generally not very trustworthy though, are they?

Adding Nunez and Bastoni along with some of the younger players we have in our squad already really goes a long way to future-proof our club. Really would be incredible business now and in the long run.

The numbers around Nunez seem so drastically different depending on who's reporting. Either way, I have an inbuilt distrust of strikers who do well in Portugal

Nunez isn't moving anywhere not to start so unless Harry is going to move back to CAM and forget any goal scoring records it isn't happening. In my opinion.

This one I can definitely see happening with the Mendes/Paratici relationship.

It's just whether we'll spend £50m on a forward.
Don't forget just how much business Mendes has done with United in the past, and who his number 1 client is. I don't think there would be an issue with the fee. We were more than willing to lay out that for Diaz. Nunez 100% fits the bill of being able to play across the front line or as a 10. Would be a perfect signing for me.
