Having CB options of Romero, Bastoni, Lenglet, Dier, Davies/Sanchez would put us in a great position IMO.

People have short memories. Lenglet was great at Sevilla and good for a season or so at Barca until they hit their troubles. Defenders always take the brunt of the criticism when a teams form drops. He's still young and if Conte thinks he can get him back to his best we should be happy.

Yep, he’s a very good player who like many before him has gone stale at a mega club. It’s not like we’re trying to sign an unheard of or an average player. Lenglet in Rodon out would be very good business.

People on here have a fetish on here for players from foreign leagues until they arrive and prove to be worse than/no noticeable upgrade on our current options (e.g Emerson). Davies has been brilliant for us in the LCB role. He's great on the ball and a good box defender. Lenglet is a clown.

Lets hope so. We have so many areas to strengthen before preseason begins - we cant afford to get stalled by 1 transfer.

I imagine Paratici has given him/Inter a deadline, if nothing chances, we will simply just get on with it

it's the way it has to be.
Conte and FP will have lists and know whats going on.
As someone else said- it's going to be very telling who will be on the plane to Korea. All internationals will have returned from holidays and with the exception of 3/4 players in our plans will be going there to continue pre-season.
