I'm wondering if Lennon will be sold if Bale is not. I doubt we would sell both but we may very well be preparing for the possibility that Real Madrid don't cough up for Bale. We're almost there with Lamela now and although we appear to have the money to spend, I imagine we'll want to bring in some money to help balance the books. That would leave us with Bale, Lamela, Chadli and Townsend.

I'm not expecting this to happen btw, still think Bale will go. But I do think this is a potential quick sale at the end of the window if Bale is somehow still here.

lamella is overrated and overpriced

Would you have spent £30m on Bale when he was 21? It's too early to judge a player at that age. Lamela has the potential to be world class and he's already better than any other winger we have outside of Bale.

I think like others have stated if this is true he probably saw capoue paulinho beast and dembele thinking all I do is attack and score with bobby and erik and be in the running for the league hmmm or play second fiddle to ronaldo (as in image wise jot position) and not win the league due to barca but the lure of real madrid maybe over powering in this factor. Believe I read somewhere that AVB introduced a policy change last season whereby if a player has not been selected or is unavailable they aren't under any obligation to attend the game.

Mate, maybe your source has been told that because people at Spurs are spinning that story to cover up the embarrassment of being shellecked, but there is no way it is true, Chelsea are just former European Champions, with the most successful manager in Europe, it's a no brainer for a foreign player.

That may be true, but BAE and ADE was at the Lane yesterday even though they are no where the starting 11, and may well be on their way to other clubs. I wish Bale showed Tottenham and it's fans some respect, not hide under a rock in Spain.
