Yes, a pacey one that will push them like Poch wants according to ITK. We also have the best central defenders in the league but we have just bought 2 more.

So we've got to learn to park the bus ourselves.

I think it's strange some people here don't want Mahrez.

Other than the season Leicester won the league he's been poor pretty much most of last season and hardly setting the world alight again so far this season, loses the ball and doesn't try to win it back or fails to track back, doesn't seem like he would fit in with the team ethos Poch has installed with the squad.

I think it's also a question of what is exactly meant by the term forward. Benteke, Morata ( who we were after supposedly) King. These are number 9s, Balde and I guess Lemar are more midfielders or inside forwards. Martial is the only one that comes to mind who could really properly play in both positions but aside from that, I wouldn't be starting Benteke in place of of Son or Balde instead of Kane.

Taking that logic one step further, if we were going to spend a larger amount, I would hope it was on a wing forward rather then a rotation 9.

He was absolutely fantastic against Man Utd. There's this idea he's a bad egg or wouldn't work hard. He clearly doesn't want to stay at Leicester but instead of sulking or striking he's working hard and actually if watched him has started the season extremely well.

In my opinion he's exactly the type of player we need. On a spacey Wembley pitch bringing on Mahrez would be a fantastic option. If it's some great thing we've "no chance" of signing him I cannot wait to see what we end up with...

Its the obligatory game changing ITK. Club leaks it every window around this time to appease the fanbase as we are always pissed off with levy for pissing about during the window and it costing us points every freaking summer. Nothing to see here. Barkley, Aurier and Foyth coming in will be the extent of the business done.

Why would they leak something they know isnt going to happen just to appease fans for two days? ..... It will obviously piss people off more when it doesn't happen.

I would like to add I don't endorse this theory....I don't believe this is what is happening. But the theory that they would purposely leak a false effort to sign someone is perfectly plausible and even rational.

Notwithstanding the frustration we have all suffered from the last 2 weekends, we're entering the last part of the transfer window where we are projected to do significant business. Let's, against all evidence to the contrary, be a little bit positive about how we're going to end this thing.
