How sad is it that you got disagree's for that? Some people would rather support our arch rivals than an ex player/manager who didn't actually do bad for us.
Or maybe some don't give a fuck and aren't going to be watching or take an interest and will not become either "Villa fans" or "Arsenal fans"

A little surprising yes but I'm not going to get upset about a few disagrees to one of my posts.

Neither am I going to be sat wearing Claret and Blue, I'll just be watching the final with a preference of a villa win. Might even put a few quid on the upset for shits and giggles.

Anyway..... back to ITK shall we :)

Trippier age 22 in the 2012/13 Championship season played 45 times for Burnley and got 12 assists.
Fredericks age 22 in the 2014/15 Championship season played 17 times for Middlesbrough and got 0 assists.

I don't see how assists are ever relevant in judging a player, never mind a left back/wing back.

An assist is a measure of whether or not a goal was scored by the recipient, not by any means an accurate measure of the player himself (or the quality of his pass) - not to mention the floppy nature of the definition of an 'assist' by different observers.

A&C is gonna have a stonking hard on, when he reads all these on topic comments!

Most of it is on point - there's a question around the suitability of Trippier, Ings and Berahino, as it seems some don't see them as a definite improvement over what we already have in our ranks.

Ings and Berahino look like no-goes anyway, and I can't say I'm too disappointed. I'd still like us to sign a more senior striker, as I think it's important to the development of Kane.

The most interesting aspect of the summer will be Tim's interaction with ourselves. I wonder if there'll be the chance of him providing first-team football to Pritchard in the same way that Walker had at Villa.

Part of me would like to see a Benteke link, but I'm worried that Sherwood gets performances out of players that aren't indicative of their "normal" ability. I can see us offloading some players to Villa if we went for any of their players, though.

Possibly you're right but we'll see if pritchard makes it im pleased dont get me wrong but I just think that Grealish is more likely to thrive in the prem!!
If it was not for Pritchard's Spurs connection most would agree with you

Lennon, Ade, Kaboul, Carroll. Capoue, Townsend... for Benteke. Would solve a lot of problems for both of us.

I'd offer Ade, Kaboul, Capoue, Chiriches and Carroll.

I think Townsend has value still.

Or, you know, we just don't give a sweet fuck about Villa.

I'd say my backup team is Swansea anyway. Everyone else can screw off.

I won't be cheering either of them on. Probably won't even watch it to be honest.
