This might actually work in our favour, an apology and admitting how wrong we were to feed his ego with a proper offer will do wonders.

If both offer same wages and both offer same fee to Palace, you would think that he will join us over them given we are in CL and have a stronger team to challenge. Also their players are looking to leave. In this situation, only point going for them will be he may have better chance of starting week in week out there than us.

We have a fantastic squad and a management team that I have never experienced in 40 years supporting THFC.
But tonight it looks like DL really is supporting Poch- it doesn't get much better than this.

I was about to say since we've had info of two bids being accepted from two different sources (Goat and Gards) it's likely that it's true, however thinking about it, it's very possible that both the Goat and Gards are getting their info from the same source...
