So Paulinho played well last night, assisting one and netting the winner. I'm very excited that we're close to bagging a Brazilian who is making a name for himself for possibly the most famous national team.

I like the fact that when/if we sign him, anyone who watched the confed cup will think 'fucking hell, Spurs mean business this season' However his coverage could be a double edged sword...but I'm optimistic.

The Villa ITK seems to have gathered a bit more pace...at first I wasn't convinced but having read a lot of varying opinions and seen him play a bit for spain, I reckon he could bring a lot to the table.

The 2 croats are interesting - I'm assuming they won't be part of the first team for a while but good that we're continuing to build for the future.

and then Jackson Martinez...I know nothing about him but like his name!

oh and a big shout out to the mods from Northampton. This forum really is the best distraction from getting any work done EVER! Cheers

Even I've donated this morning and that's in spite of the fact that as a mod, I am made to get up every morning at 3am together with the other mods to help write the first post of the ITK thread for A&C.

it saddens me that A&C even had to explain the finances of the site. People should just take it on good faith. And you know what...........would it even be a problem if this site made a profit given the time we are all on it and the information and entertainment it gives? And I shudder to think how busy those that run it must especially during the windows..........going to donate £50 in a minute but I would rather those that run the site brought yourselves a couple of beers with it for all the great work!

Donated yesterday because this site is simply the most entertaining website on the whole of the big wide interweb! It's astonishing that Rob and the mods keep it all going at a loss and I'm very grateful for all the fun I've had since joining up. In fact, I wish you were all making a shitload of money from it because it would be more than well deserved!

With the old software it was easier to have subscriptions and we've not quite cracked that with the new software yet. It's one of our top priorities though as we know that's really the way to go rather than having to harass people every few months.

Thanks to everyone who's donated this morning. As A&C explained, it's much more the lean months that worry me. We need to raise enough by August to cover us until Christmas and that's where we often fall short.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realise that the traffic this server gets will mean that it costs an arm and a leg to keep running. Just like it is glaringly obvious that to keep this site running people need to do their bit.

More Goat cryptics akin to yesterday is a very entertaining way to decipher ITK, and keep (most of the time) the banter on an upbeat curve, whilst keeping on topic too.

This, I am mega skint constantly at the moment and have the first new addition to our family due in November BUT even I can scrape £1 and if everyone did that today who visits even this thread then it would soon add up? It was also be a huge fuck you to anyone that was slagging this place off yesterday..i love this site and really appreciate all the hard work that goes into it from everyone
