Issue with Moriba is that his agent wants him to go to Leipzig as he has set up a lucrative deal for next summer when he is free. Barca want cash so have agreed a deal with spurs. The lucrative part is clearly for the agent hence he is pushing him to go their next year. Issue for the lad is does he want a year in the reserves our move now to the lane. My guess is he goes to Leipzig if his agent holds serious sway over him.

For me if he listens to his agent then we get a lucky escape. If he chooses playing football and stability for a few seasons then at least we know he has a brain.

I do not know the first thing about the mechanics of as agent/player relationship.

But is an agent not employed by a player, and therefore a player can sack an agent if he is not representing him to his satisfaction.

Like Harry Kane his agent is family. His father and guardian more so. But we all know that family and business should not mix

Barca wont play him & will sit him on the sidelines all year if he doesnt have a buyer/wont sign a new deal to go to Leipzig next summer for free. I could see why Barca & the player are more attracted to our offer than Leipzig. Just the problems with his agents.

Love that news. Kind of confused by Emerson (though I’d love it) if we are keeping Doherty and Tanganga. Unless the decision was made to have Tanganga function in the role previously tabbed for Tomiyasu.
