or you have been to that restaurant many times and despite the waiter telling you how much its improved, you just know its shit..

Or, are people going there with a closed mind so they can be angry for the sake of it.

Like the one above - "Haven't made a signing (for this season) in a month now". Last thing I knew, people were moaning that we never get them in early - now we don't sign them late enough?

Imagine it in footballing terms - turning up to the match and booing for the first minute, and saying "I can't believe we've lost this" before anyone's scored.

At this point in time, I would take Traore and nothing else...

He's what I reckon we need. Without any abrupt outgoings, I don't see a huge issue elsewhere so far.
Looks like Nuno's organised the defence a bit, but there's a spark missing that he had yesterday that cause problems for Utd.

I think we have to be a bit realistic on this guys, the way that chump who pretended to be an Italian Spurs fan (I was duped too…) and know everything about Paratici has skewed a lot of our thinking/expectation on this.

I’m struggling to remember what was genuine ITK about how he works and what was fantasy made up from the Psychopath.

If we get players in - great

If we don’t - fine (9pts from 3 games)

If we manage to get some outgoings - great

If we don’t - fine, I hope they contribute if and when needed.

Some people just want to clog the thread with their complaining.

Can see a load of Selling clubs hiking up prices with only hours left to try and big Nibbles...
Funnily enough I can see the opposite - clubs needing money to pay bills/balance the books cutting prices to get sales.

No one said that.

Why does it always feel like there's people waiting to eagerly to throw shade on it all? It's getting towards the point where people are sat around like snipers, waiting to justify months worth of negativity.

When people say "wait until the window is closed", they don't mean "we will sign Messi". This is all like complaining about the taste of your food in a restaurant before it's even been cooked.

No one wants to be negative. Everyone here wants the club to do well.

We all knew leading up to the summer that we needed a rebuild. We all probably knew that the entire rebuild couldn't be done in one window. But I'm sure we all expected more than what's been done currently.

The thing is, people rightly point out their concern when they see the same trends that we see window after window start to repeat themselves and they get called moaners, bedwetters, accused of melting down etc. They are told that there is plenty time left and that they should not believe that the same patterns are clearly repeating themselves.

It then turns out that after waiting till the end of the window as they were told to do, the business expected to be done did not materialise and we are left in the all too familiar place of not having done enough.

People then rightly air their frustrations and they're accused (like you've done) of wanting things to go badly so that they could have a moan when it isn't the case.

There's nothing wrong if you or others want to be extremely positive and optimistic. We all want to be. But people should not have to ignore what they're seeing play out with their own eyes just for the sake of being deludedly optimistic. And they definitely should not be accused of wanting things to go wrong just because they've rightly pointed out any failings that they could see coming based on well worn patterns.

It's going to be a busy 2 weeks.
It's going to be a busy week.
It's going to be a manic Monday.
We are trying, but deals seem to be extremely difficult to do.
Sadly we ran out of time.
We have an excellent bunch of professionals which Nuno will get the most out of their talents.

Mix and match the most likely scenario

Let’s hope the ITK comes off and we get two more over the line. We’ve done well to get nine points but we haven’t looked amazing.

It’s starting to look like our transfer kitty was actually coming from a Kane sale to me…

It was pretty weird wasn’t it
