News sounds good, looks like we're trying to get on with it and really implement a strategy now that Harry Short-term has left the building.

Vertonghen, Sigurdsson looking likely. Vertonghen replacing King, Sigurdsson replacing Kranjcar. Corluka leaving, so maybe Naughton will replace him. Caulker to come back to replace Bassong/Bonghani/Gallas in squad/pecking order.

I imagine a replacement for Luka may take a little while though. I'm expecting the Luka sale and replacement to drag on tbh. Both deals are likely to be big money ones with plenty of negotiations.

So, if you have £16 and want to magically turn that into £17 you place a £16 bet with PaddyPower on AVB to be next Spurs Manager.

AVB is as good as done. He has aklready said he has been scouting players ahead of his next managerial position. Therefore we can expect that he has a list, to be added to Levys list of potential targets, and we will be working hard on getting some of those players in. Moutinho will be very high on both those lists I would imagine. If the 0.0000001% of the Vertonghen deal that still needs to be completed scuppers the deal, I'd take that Alves monster playing for Portugal last night. Maybe even in addition too if AVB deems Dawson too uncultured for his team. Though I'd imagine that would be next summer once he has had a look at him.
