Interest in Trippier is very real, and we would still like Ings if it can be done.
Guess they moved it up because of the CL squad registration deadline?According to Sky, transfer window now shuts Tuesday 1st September at 6pm.
With Pritchard coming in, we only need a striker. I am not too concern about Trippier since Yeldin looks promising. If we get Ings all is good. I still think getting the best out of current squad is the key eg. Passing.
31st is a bank holiday in England. TW can't shut on a non-banking day.Guess they moved it up because of the CL squad registration deadline?
Yeah I know that. That's why they moved the window back a day. But doesnt the window normally close at 11pm UK time? They moved that up to 6pm.31st is a bank holiday in England. TW can't shut on a non-banking day.
Walkers injury issues are a real concern.

So because you don't believe the stories they must be inaccurate. This is how your argument comes acrossExactly this Jospur. I don't have a problem with him getting a payrise at all, nor for standing up for himself. What I do have a problem with is the way that some people are making him out to be some kind of calculating arsehole for being presumptious enough to expect a fair and decent deal and for believing any old crap that gets posted in a newspaper.
Peter Kay seems like a thoroughly nice chap but I wouldn't want him as a premier league striker.happy that soldado isn't on the alleged 'list'. he's a throughly nice chap and i'm stil convinced there's a big player for us in there somewhere.
And so it begins.
May: "He ain't going nowhere, we won't sell and he wants to stay."
June: "If he goes it will be for big money."
July: "Hugo has had his head turned, Daniel won't sell though, we are in a strong position and he is on a long contract."
August: "What choice did Levy have? The player forced our hand and you don't want a player with a bad attitude in the dressing room around our young squad, at least we got over the odds for him and have a bit of time to find a replacement, the club probably already have one in mind."
September: "Master stroke by Levy getting Friedel to come out of retirement. He is still a top keeper and we do have a stadium to pay for, we don't want to do a Leeds do we? At least we can take some time to scout and get a top keeper in January rather than panic buy".
Not for this thread, so suffice to say we'll have far more home growns than 2.
January: "Teams won't let important players go in January, we'll have to wait til summer."

Mate, the current squad isn't good enough. You can't honestly think after watching last season that our problems will be solved with Pritchard, one new striker and Wimmer. With Pritchard coming in, we only need a striker. I like the idea of Trippier in view of Trix's comment about Walker's injury situation. And it looks like he won't be too expensive.
I'm not too impressed with Ings. We do need more up front but I think there's better out there. Heung-Min Son (Bayer Leverkusen) would be a terrific acquisition as he could spell Kane and also play left or right. Another name that has come up recently in ITK is Lucian Vietto (Villareal). Now he would be a marvellous acquisition!
Another problem-area that needs to be addressed in my opinion is centre midfield. Bentaleb is terrific - but I'm not so sure about Mason. Maybe Alli would be a better long-term possibility - or of course Adrien Rabiot. Now there's an exciting player. Schneiderlin is on the minds of many for that role - but he's costly. He brings steel and experience - but can we afford him?
JJ said recently that the Rabiot deal is dead. Makese sense really - he's finally on the verge of really breaking through at PSG, it would be silly to leave now.
