But then on the other hand we had Woodgate and Gallas as 2 of our highest earners. I wouldn't mind us paying the Woodgate wage on Parker tbh. If he wants more than that however he can KUMB on his own face.
POTL has slowly become more and more of a joke over this window. Blue and Yellow was an absolute pisstake and saying the Diarra and Parker deals were done when they clearly weren't/aren't surely means that his rep has to have taken a battering over the last few months. It's a slight pitty POTL is on COYS where freedom of speach is prohibited.
At least here he would be subject to questions(not abuse) and wouldn't get away with some of the patter he comes away with.
Diarra was a player i was quite excited about, annoyed he said it was done and we see nothing.
Really do think Parker is a Diarra replacement if he ever signs. Tomorrow.

Even just ask for an explanation as to what went wrong and when?Yep. It would be nice tone able to ask a critical, but non-confrontational, question about Diarra.
Wasnt Archie saying that 2 hours ago Parker was finalised? and that wages WERE the issue before 2 hours ago?
Or is he saying i don't know where it's at now but 2 hours ago Parker wasn't agreed.
Just to do some maths for a minute:
75k per week = 3.9 million per year.
A three year deal = 11.7 million pounds.
Plus a transfer fee of 5m = 16.7 million pounds.
Look at it from a businessman/Levy's perspective. Sign a good younger player on 40k a week on a five year deal for around 6million. It costs less and you can sell them on before the end of their contract, too.
EDIT: Okay, 75k might be wrong. But the principle stands.

Now it's the most important three days in the clubs history.
Surely Parker realises that we arn't about to make him our top earner?
Never under estimate the greed of a greedy bastard......Surely Parker realises that we arn't about to make him our top earner?
Football writors player of the year don't you know?
I do Ryan , but surely he's prepared to take a bit of a compromise to get the move through.
