ok llorente looks pretty good to me just the sort of player we need. But why oh why are we not in for Torres??? surely this must have crossed levys mind. if hes interested in going to chelsea, why not us ? we have a youngr more up and coming squad. I am not ITK but I can see levy moving for torres this window. whether he would sign is a different matter.

Torres for 45M plus and wages 150K def a no goer - Torres also spends a good deal of time injured

To be fair when we were all searching around in the dark wondering if we'd signed VDV or not he was the only ITK who had any idea what was happening and actually said 'he's ours' before the transfer went through.

In short, he may be negative but at least we can trust him. I'd rather that than someone saying 'OMG just spoke to my source, can't say what but something BIG is happening at the lodge' which, of course, always turns out to be compete bollocks.

This is probably pretty close to the truth. IMO, Bilbao will accept our offer but I don't believe Llorente will decide to come and play for us.

I don't say he won't come just that I doubt he's been laying awake at night dreaming of it. Hopefully he's spoken to Torres and been told good things about us, no doubt Torres really wanted to come to us but we haven't bid for him .

All the Bilbao players have high release clauses do to the unique situation the club are in. Javi Martinez also has one of the same value.
I'd like to see us sign Llorente but it doesn't appear to be realistic.
There really isn't much in a charman saying not for sale at any price though, particularly if he then goes on to speak about release clauses.
