Good morning all! I can see our roller coaster picking up some speed today, both incomings and outgoings. Here is hoping for some official announcements!

£20M for VDV would be very tempting, but I'd be sorry to see him go. I guess we've already got Siggy as a replacement so it would be interesting to see who Levy would spend the money on.

But Siggy isn't creative like VDV and if that was the replacement we'd lose a lot of the spark from our side. Siggy has other strengths, like making really intelligent moves off the ball as well as great finishing and crossing but he doesn't have VDV's vision or guile. In fact Siggy would be one who would greatly benefit from being alongside VDV if we could find a way to get them both in the same side.

If the reason is that VDV really wants to move for family reasons then I think we'd need to move on and find someone else with great vision and creativity. It'd be a sad day though.

Great news on Dembele and Lloris, but absolutely awful news on VDV (fortunately JJ still thinks he will stay, so I'm just going to pray he does). Yesterday was a bit like getting laid for the first time only to realise that you got the clap.

Let's hope we announce Lloris and Dembele today as it will stand us in good stead for the remaining few mental days of the window.

As much as I live Rafa, I am starting to see that if we get the money we want for him we may be leading up to something huge.

I can definetaly see a big striker on his way with the money being made on players, and wages being freed up.

If everything falls into place we could be seeing a very special looking spurs team about to come together, maybe there was more to Bale extending his contract, he may have been given an insight to the plans ahead

Couldn't get on much yesterday (in pub) but every time I managed a sneaky peek, the thread had jumped up by 20 odd pages. A good day, hopefully another one today.

When was the last time we had a double, let alone triple signing?
Was it Sean Davis/Pedro? Or even Davies and Etherington?

Oh, and morning all - been awake since half two so I'm probably gonna flake at some stage today and miss all the fun!

Dembele and Lloris would be a fantastic double signing. Probably only around the 30m mark as well for the two of them leaving at least 30m to spend (if some of the papers are to be believed).

As for Rafa I'd be massively sad to see him go but I'd totally understand it. I don't think he necessarily fits in to AVB's planned formations and I don't think our new manager is one for 'luxury players' which I suspect he sees Rafa as. If he does go though, we need to replace his creativity, and that's on top of any possible Dembele signing.

Anyway...3 days to go...I'm expecting a lot of ITK today boys and girls so get out there and get whoring!

Not if Rafa and Gomes leave. I can imagine £4m for Gomes and rumoured £20m for VDV. Means a nett spend of £6m(ish). Great business Levy.

I remember being really excited when we signed etherington/davies. I was 15 and Davies soon became my favourite player. Looking back I think we really fucked up etherington as he could have been great for us. That team was so close to being good. Sull in goal, Stephen Carr, Judas, etc. with a few more decent players (mid and forward) they could have done great things.

Anyway sorry that's as off topic as I'll be today just a trip down memory lane.

But Willian is from what everyone is saying (I've never actually seen him so can't give my opinion), and he could play in the same side as Sigurdsson more than VDV could.
