I'm mystified by the last bit of The Journalist's info.

Why on earth are we looking at bringing a defender in? Kaboul, Verts, Dawson, Caulker - that's four first-class centrebacks. I know AVB (and half of SC) didn't fancy Dawson earlier this season, but hopefully his recent performances have jogged memories that he was our player of the season the year before last.

Maybe he means a fullback, which would make more sense (Benny, Walker, Naughton, Fryers... a less convincing line-up) - but his wording makes me think of a CB rather than a FB for some reason.

That will be the Ajax lad Alderwield (?) probably. He's been mentioned before. It says for the summer when I think Gallas and probably Daws will be moved on.

So, yesterday my Spurs shirt was stolen off the washing line. Today there's a photo of a stranger standing with AVB, holding a Spurs shirt that looks just like mine ... Not suggesting anything here, just saying!!

On another note, I assume they're both looking at the camera (AVB certainly is). Am I the only one to notice that Hotlby's right eye appears to be looking over his left shoulder?

That will be the Ajax lad Alderwield (?) probably. He's been mentioned before. It says for the summer when I Gallas and probably Daws will be moved on.

I don't think and hope there is any intention at the moment to shift Daws out. He proved all wrong and with hard work he got back in the team and is very important as experienced leader. Wouldn't want to miss him. But Alderweireld in for Gallas would be a pretty decent move.

I remember how it was done - but my "solution" has been stuck on a rocket and fired out of the atmosphere by A&C himself.

Because Kabouls out, Caulker still lacks a bit of experience and Verts has been used on the left. I love Daws but his limitations are still on show most weeks. The Ajax lad seems to have been a long term target and is younger.

The Leandro thing is almost becoming a transfer window tradition. We might as well have a picture of him with a big red cross on the January page of the Spurs calender.

I'm not even sure we're really interested. I think Levy's just trying to piss off Inter for his own amusement. I can imagine the Inter chairman keeps on getting text messages every 5 minutes saying "to end our interest in Leandro please text STOP to our premium rate number."

Breezer's source is the MRI machine itself. So as it is not Jodie Marsh you cannot slip something in it without it noticing.
