Who the hell is Spurs guvnor in ITK forum?
In January he told us we had bid £30m+ for Cavani and then when a few questioned it he told us to "fack off" and called us mugs.

Sounds legit. In January he told us we had bid £30m+ for Cavani and then when a few questioned it he told us to "fack off" and called us mugs.
Just seen that photo thats been doing the rounds... so we are signing someone with a receding hairline, of questionable age and with a considerable belly looking at that pic.... right OK then
It's in the process of being verified. I believe the Oddmeister is on the case. Why are people allowed to post threads who aren't verified in that section? So dumb.

Diame is huge? Hope you're talking in football terms because he's quite average in real life.

Oh, right. City have, let's see, Aguero, Tevez, Balotelli, and Dzeko, not to mention Ade, Rocket Roque and two or three kids. Our striking department's well on a par with that little lot, isn't it? How the hell are we going to compete with an outfit that can not only outbid us every time, but also afford to pay its top players £200k and more a week? Unless you're one of those who thinks Levy should throw financial common sense out of the window and go the Leeds route (you're not, are you?), we simply cannot compete financially with City, Chelsea, United, Arsenal (although Wenger spends their money like it's coming out of his own pocket) and probably Liverpool. There's also the small matter of the perceived prestige deficit. We have to run just to stay still.
Sure, if it's firing on all cylinders our first-choice XI is fully capable of giving any team a game (well, it would be if we still had Ade, but let's ignore that minor detail, as well as the point that even he never looked like he was going to bang in 20+ goals last season), but beyond that things look distinctly thin in terms of quality. That was the case in Jol's time, and it's still the case now. But you delude yourself if you want to. It's a free country.
Maybe we are considering him as an alternative to Remy as a wide striker? Two posts above, re: doumbia. Just don't see doumbia being a target. A lot of money for a striker that is short and pacy.
He's huge as compared to Modric and Lennon. That's about it. He's a normal guy otherwise. I found the term 'huge' a bit funny, but whatever. No big deal.Really I thought he was 6ft + and not skinny?
so huge was ott. The bloke in the picture is about Modric size though. He's huge as compared to Modric and Lennon. That's about it. He's a normal guy otherwise. I found the term 'huge' a bit funny, but whatever. No big deal.
