Hi Transfer Rumours people,

Please stop bumping old player threads with non-transfer-related stuff. You fucking morons. You know who you are. Fuck.

If you have any questions, please ask someone else.

Stay slaying,

Wtf are we doing…. Bakayoko to brentford (better than Johnson), fati to Brighton (same) and we get - no incoming breakthrough…. 100m of Kane money. We want to spend it on basically the British Holtby and Nkoudou.
1 day for potential 3 signing isn’t long enough
I think today was essentially dedicated to outgoings so we know exactly what we are working with come tomorrow. Backwards I know because this should have all been done ages ago but so it goes. Fati would have been the exception because Barca had a Felix deadline but I’m sure we would have preferred it to haves waited until tomorrow also.

OK, I think we're done in terms of incomings.

So after selling Kane, we'd be maybe open to something opportunistic falling on our laps..

That's it...that was the plan.

That’ll be PSG trying to get competition so they can get a buy back deal
You do realise that PSG only signed him last month? He was on loan to them last season and only scored 4 goals in 25+ games.

Probably on big wages and would take up a non-HG slot. Worrying that PSG want rid of him.

Better off taking a chance with Gift Orban who wouldn't take up a non-HG slot this season.

All pretty sad this isn’t it. I really like this manager and the style of football he’s looking to bring, it would have been nice to give him the proper backing he deserves rather than scrabble around with agent offered players on deadline day. If we’re starting with Ange as we mean to go on then it’s not looking good is it

Every fucking thread, this post. There's still over a day for incomings.

Ekitike would be a great drop in our laps, tbh. Would love to see it.

It’s how it’s always going to be I’m afraid, it’s no coincidence everyone ends up leaving.

To be fair if Ange expected anything else then more fool him.

Comprehensively outspent by Bournemouth and Burnley so far.

So shaping up for a flurry of activity tomorrow both in and out. We'll have to oil the revolving door at the entrance to Hotspur Way for smooth movement to facilitate the mad rush.

Tbh I still can’t get my head round all our hopes hanging on Brennan Johnson to boost our front line in the wake of Kane being sold. If we had started the window knowing Johnson would be the only attacking player we buy with Kanes sale I think many would riot. Now everyone is pinning all their hopes on him being bought for £50 mil on deadline day. Even if you rate Johnson that’s just not nearly good enough imo.

I think that’s just a sign of how predictable all of this is, we have been here a million times, fans have just become worn down by it all.

They need to though. Staying in the Premier League is vital. Whatever our squad gaps are, we're not going to be in that shake up. I agree with the poster who said today outgoings, tomorrow incomings. I really believe that's the plan.
