Mini-explosion that we have agreed a fee of 5m Euros for Dier and he has also agreed personal terms on a 5 year deal.

Great move, in my opinion.

Falque out, Dier in for no outlay.

Player we don't need at all (now 24 as well) replaced by a promising young player who sporting fans are loath to lose.

Hard to see a negative.

I get why Rodgers is after Soldado. He's similar to Suarez in possession, has good touch, vision and awareness.

If that happened RAWK would probably go into meltdown despite that fact Soldado is a very capable player.

I'd say the similarities stop with the letter "S" in their names. (And I am one of the few Spurs fans who still rates Soldado)

No to Schneiderlin, please. We do not need a CM and I would 100% rather have 2 actual DM's than just Capoue. Capoue gets hurt and we're screwed against the top teams with our back 4, just like we were with Dim last year. We NEED Sandro. We have next to no need for MS. It would be a stupid signing and would jaust make us have to sign another DM to be comfortable. Schneiderlin would be a pointless and dumb signing. Bring on the disagrees but it's true. We have Bentaleb, Dembele, Mason, Paulinho for the role to partner the defensive mid in central midfiield. Stupid signing is stupid.

Oh and as for that Soldado to Liverpool BS(since that is exactly what it is, bullshit). That's just laughable and makes me question whether or not baino is ITK. Especially since I have never heard of him before. Is he thought of highly at FTL?

Schneiderlin is more of a CM who is means to play up the pitch. I havent seen these "fantastic defensive abililities" except on that youtube video, which I am 100% sure that 90% of SC has become Schneiderlin experts not because of it. I've watched alot of Southampton this year. Schneiderlin is a good player but we do not need him. That it fact.

If Fonte story is true, it's worth noting that his contract expires next summer so this could be another low numbers deal.

I wouldn't go for Fonte simply because it could reduce the chances of us getting Schneiderlin. I mean we're not Liverpool FFS...

They really were for a couple of months under AVB. Exceptional in fact. Both have been perma-crocked ever since though unfortunately with Mousa's hip and Sandros knee and muscle problems

Also worth noting that Cardiff had £3.25 million bid for Fonte rejected last week.
If the only other interest is a Championship side, should we really be showing interest at all???

You'll presumably scoff at the use of stats. But is most tackles and interceptions in the league over a two-year period enough to convince you of his defensive abilities?
