Despite SSN saying we're only working on a Cahill deal, I'm fairly confident we're also trying to do something big too. Whether it comes off or not is a different matter...

Encouraged by the outgoing news as it actually makes the chance of incomings much more likely and although the Cahill transfer has hit the proverbial 'brick wall', like MP has said, i think its just brinkmanship and a deal will be struck later on.

Interestingly though, if all those outgoings come to fruition then I wouldn't bet against someone else coming in so who knows, maybe Akgayid is on to something...

Well......I think we could have done better....

Ideally we'd get another striker and winger in. Townsend looks a good player so perhaps we can forget a GFTS type of player for now. I do think another striker will be needed though otherwise the pressure on Adebayor will be immense.

Mate I'm confident after that, Levy knows Bolton want to sell...Coyle hasn't shut up all summer talking him up, he's only 1 year left on his contract and they want some money for him.

Its all brinkmanship, I would be 95% confident he'll be a YID come midnight tonight.
