The James Wilson rumour is edging me closer, memories of Fraizer Campbell anyone? Are we in meltdown yet, or we saving that for tomorrow?
Javi Martinez. Well that's out of nowhere.
I'm gonna assume that's where it's going too...Javi Martinez. Well that's out of nowhere.

We've had a very very good window so far by all accounts but if we don't get a top draw striker in by the COB tomorrow it will turn ugly, that should've been the n.o1 priority this window and leaving it this late is very very risky.
I'm still holding out faith as so far the window seems to have been fairly methodical and well thought-out but we desperately need a striker and if we don't get one this will stink of Levy pennypinching.
Surely it is simple you draw up a list of say 5-10 candidates, probably less then put bids in for the top2-3 if rejected bid again and then move down the list but hopefully the list is good enough that even if we end up with n.o 8 he's still a quality player not a Stambouli, Rasiak or F.Campbell.
I'm melting faster by the minute, hope the ITK's are right, if so we will have had one hell of a window and be in really really great shape IMO.
Can only see this being a possible loan of convenience for both parties. He needs to get back to playing regularly but can't see BM being ready to off load permanentlyJavi Martinez. Well that's out of nowhere.
Typically I would disregard such a name immediately. But Pep hasn't used him a lot. Coming off a year where he missed the campaign due to knee ligament damage. Only two years left on contract. Could be possible.
The Goat
From a new source, so applicable salt etc etc, but The Goat hears that there is interest in Javi Martinez from Bayern. No details on the outcome, such as wether the enquiry was rejected or otherwise, just that the question was asked.
From a more regular source The Goat hears one last push for Berahino. We're hoping we get up to 3 in but other than Berahino no names were mentioned. Also that it now looks like Adebayor, despite big efforts by the club, is happy to sit around doing nothing although something very late on hasn't been completely ruled out.
Three in on a deadline day thats shorter than usual by several hours would be literally unheard of, even for chrome dome.Three in would be pretty extreme considering the amount of time left on the clock.
