Jose wants a striker, we are 100% looking to get this done. King is doable, but other more preferable options are being explored.

Plenty of time left to make sure we get the biggest bang for our buck. Not all of them have to be in by the start of the season.

Whilst I appreciate we have plenty of options to explore on the striker front, we simply can not afford to let this drag till deadline day, the fixture pile up speaks for itself.

What is meant by a 'big striker?

Big money I guess. If that is meant to refer to Woods or Ings, surely we'd prefer the risk that comes with an overseas player than blowing all of our savings on 28 year olds.
I thought most people had got this by now:

We don´t have room in our squad for yet another foreign player. The foreign player quota is full. We need players that qualify for the HG-quota, i.e. players that have been under a contract with a club within the English FA for at least three years before they turned 21. Regardless of how you interpret the different ITKs´ "one out - one in", this is definitely the case with players that are not considered HG. It´s very simple logic, really: knowing how tight Levy is when it comes to transfers - why should or would he spend money on a player that can´t be named in the squad?

How hard can it be to understand this?

Thanks to the staff and all the ITKs: you´re doing a fab job! ? I believe we´ll sort the striker option one way or the other. Be exciting to see who it turns out to be - all of the mentioned possibilities can do a job for us I think.

Put £10 in the pot because I thought I had a running donation but wanted to chip in a bit extra for the donation run... Turns out I didn't have a subscription, so I've set up a monthly recurring one for £5 as well.

Thanks Rob and the moderator team for keeping us entertained.

Didn't realise Rob was having to dip into his pockets regularly to pay for a site that we all get so much from.. that's shite. Small monthly donation set up, thank you for the laughs and distraction, its like a big family on here!

This.

We can add a homegrown player and it not effect anything, as we have space in our squad to do so without the need to sell. Also, as unflattering a signing to some it may seem (King, Wilson, Woods), why would we take up a non-homegrown spot for a player that will also be 2nd choice when Kane is fit.

Players we are interested in that are (Non-Homegrown) are always going to be completed once we sell a player from our existing Non-homegrown list.

BEN: we 100% do (want to get rid of ndom)
on finding a buyer: we have one i believe
Should the infrequency of Bens posts suggest he only posts when he’s certain, or that his info isn’t what it used to be? Either way, always worth paying attention given his past successes. Cheers for the whore Dov.

Definitely seems like we need to accept the loss of Ndombele. The key is getting the deal done and getting a quality replacement this window. He'll probably go on to be a top player and missed opportunity but we clearly can't afford passengers on £200k a week.

Personally, I’m suspicious that is the real Ben as I was able to understand what he said on the first read ;).
