Tomsk - district in Russia, 2 popular teams are in Tomsk, CSKA Moscow and Zenit St Petersburg. A CSKA player who's name also relates to fine food is Musa, someone previously linked via the media.

What a weird knowledge of Russia :)))
Tomsk is a city in Siberia, Russia, yes.
Moscow is the Capital of Russia and St Petersburg is second largest city in Russia, situated on Gulf of Finland .

Of course we could sign both. Ali isn't anywhere near PL level and would probably play with the U21s of a PL side whereas Rabiot would definitely get into the PL squad/team.

Just stick Alli back on loan to Dons for the rest of the season and then see what he looks like in summer.....if he still needs work send him back on loan next year.

Cheers, big ears.

He's a Liverpool fan and loves Gerrard. Oh well, nobody is perfect. I wonder if Liverpool will come in for him. Brentan creams over these types of young domestic players.

The Mail were quoting that he was off to Liverpool back in October.

The Guardian have got him linked to Liverpool, but the fact they got his age, position and his name wrong makes you wonder how accurate their information is:
"MK Dons' 17-year-old centreback Della Ali could be on the brink of a transfer to Liverpool who, unlike Nottingham Forest, are not interested in Connor Wickham."

And if you read further see what they have to say about Lamela:

What a rag....

TBF Liverpool have been linked to him for about 2 years, I remember reading about them being interested when he was 15, and it kept resurfacing. I think it's pretty safe to say they're interested.

Seems Alli has said in past he is a Liverpool fan & Gerrard is his idol. There are old reports that Brendan Rodgers personally scouted him...:cautious:

According to the report back in oct, Liverpool will be biding around 9m for him once the Jan window opens. Liverpool want to buy him & loan him back for rest of season; Report also says Spurs have already talked to MK Dons regarding buying him.

@sidford And anyone else who dpoesn't already know…...This isn't the thread to be posting links to or discussing tabloid rumours.

When such a rumour appears you post them in the player threads below this one. First you check if there's already one and post in there, if there isn't one, you can create one and link to the story.

Cheers (y)

Liverpool are also going to have to do all they can to replace Gerrard. A young, talented "Liverpool fan" will go some way to do this alongside a more established star. Defo going to the scouse imo.

As it is for us, it's all a case of priorities though. They have not got a bottomless pit of money and may find that other areas of the team are more important short term. I did read they had to shift players first also. This isn't RAWK though so I apologise and won't talk about areas they need to improve in.

What gets me every time though is that they (or we) are linked almost automatically with any player that each club is seemingly interested in. I wonder whether the press do this lazily or is it the agents drumming up interest - sometimes when there may not be any?

Anyway, are there any on here that know how good this guy actually is and whether he has the potential to be the next 'big thing'? And of course there is the Delph press stuff circulating - would one or the other clubs want both?

For a simple development loan deal this already seems to be turning into a saga. Meanwhile our starting CM pairing is unavailable, one for almost a month (Bentaleb). Get it done quickly or move on.

Don't you know the only time Levy got things done quickly was VdV? He likes haggling down to pennies.:)

Levy should run a poll on the OS

Does the potential signing of Dele Alli leave you

A: Cold as a polar bears snatch?
or
B: With an erection so hard it plays the drums on your bellybutton?

That was well worth the toggling through 40 posts of utter shite. Spit out some tea. Not that I would expect any less from you. (y)

I hear final straw with Lennon is claiming hamstring was not right, also after Chelsea away did not accept criticism from Poch for goal.
Plenty Poch wants out, either through attitude or ability but its al about takers only 10 or so are safe.

Well sounds like plenty of mid to lower table sides would take Lennon. Specifically Hull, Stoke and Leicester. Hopefully we can flog him off to one of them. Naughton also seems to have takers, as does Vlad and Paulinho. But I wouldnt let either Vlad or Paulinho go on loan. Only on a perm, if we dont take too much of a loss on the original fee. Hopefully we can find takers for Ade, Kaboul and Capoue. Those 5-7 players could all go.

As for the ones who are "safe", I'd imagine they are the first XI plus Davies and Yedlin. I also think Poch would probably want Dier, Dembele and Townsend to stay, although he might let Dier go on a loan move perhaps.

The 10 or so safe would have to be the starting 11 or so of Kane, Eriksen, Chadli, Vertonghen, Fazio, Davies, Walker, Lloris, Bentaleb, Mason, Lamela?, Rose?
