Pie in the sky, but if it came down to it and we had a straight choice to make, would it be the youthful Thomas Lemar or the more proven Douglas Costa?

Either would be a real coups and definitely strengthen our first 11, but I think I'd plump for Lemar given the choice.

Lemar 100%. Younger, and a far more flexible and multi-faceted player. He can dribble, but also comes inside and gets involved.

Both would be great signings but if I had to choose I'd pick Lemar because of his age and potential to improve under good coaching would be much higher than Costa. Costa would still be exciting though.

Levey has shown in the past that he is as ruthless as Abramovic. Change managers and get results. We have been on a general upwards incline for years and although just about all of us think Poch is special does Levy see it the same way? Players and managers come and go bu the project continues is how I think he sees it all. In that case he will not radically change his philosophy to keep people. Like many I worry that if we sell players then Poch will see us as the same as Southampton who sold the team form under him.

I really hope I am completely wrong!!

I don't know many people at the club, but the few I do are close to Levy, and last summer Levy was bending over backwards to keep Poch happy (even went as far as to sign Sissoko for heavens sake). Another champions league finish and second place, and I can't believe much has changed.

Hope that decision changed things.

Seriously getting fed up with the rumours of outgoings..... why do the press have it in for spurs?
Today - Rose is going to Man U, Walker to Man City and Dier to Man U
Its so frustrating.... the worrying one is Dier as there is a well respects ITK on Man U forum saying Dier is a done deal, I cant believe it but need one of our ITK to quash it as its not looking good.
We must not allow Rose Walker and Dier to leave this summer for top 4 rivals or we may as well say bye to Poch

I know what you mean about being fed up with the constant pecking at our team by the crappier papers. My friend, a ManU c*** (ahem) was trying to tell me they were ahead of Citeh to get Rose. I wanted to wind him up and say we were heavily linked to buying their best player ... But I couldn't think of a single one I'd want to replace any player we already have!!!

I'm thinking THAT'S progress.

Last summer we spent 30M on Sissoko, 17.5M on Janssen, 12M on Wanyama and 9M on GKN. In what world do we shop in pound land? You'd do well to remember where our club was 10, 20, 30 years ago.

Not taking into account the relative success or failure of these four signings from last summer, it's really frustrating to watch our own fans perpetuate negative and no longer true stereotypes about our club. Would love to have gotten your reaction to the Nelsen and Saha window.

Take a look at the stadium financing news we just released and tell me how we're doing anything in pound land these days? If anything, given how we compare financially to the rest of the clubs around us, we're spending decently well taking that and the stadium investment into account.

Infidel! That window is never to be spoken of or mentioned again! NEVER EVER!!!

I'm generally very shit with money, so I'm taking one for all us:
10 quid pledged to SC if the itk is true about Sessegnon and we sign him
20 quid pledged to SC if the rumours/itk about Costa or Lemar are true and we sign either one
You bastards better be grateful if I lose my monies

I'd still have Martial, think Poch could do wonders with him
