I've just brought my little baby girl home from hospital who was born on New Years Day, and I'm currently sitting on the floor next to her crib just listening to her while her mummy sleeps to reassure mummy that our girl is ok. What neither of them know is that I'm about to read through the 40+ pages of this thread to keep me awake! Good work guys, 3 days in and already 1 signing and plenty of ITk chat to keep me awake for ages! See you on the other side!

actually regarding kaboul; there is serious concern that if he breaks down again in his recovery he could be out for the season.

and if you want an opinion (and it is just an opinion) i wouldnt be suprised to see another centre half by the end of the summer with both Dawson and Gallas gone.

That's interesting. While I imagine Gallas is on a bit more than Dawson, the former has something to offer to our current setup; whereas the latter, a loyal servant to the club, is basically just filling quota space with the way we play.

I would prefer that we do the right thing by Dawson and let him go somewhere to play. He's been good to us. I don' t want to fuck about with the lad.

Think Villas-Boas has realised the worth of having Dawson around, in rotation, for 'English' style matches, yer Stoke-aways, Cup matches the like. He's got good game time recently in those type of games, and he might as well see out the season IMO, especially with Kaboul short of fitness and ultimately playing time.

Big congrats to you and your wife. My wife used to make me do exactly the same thing - as well as waking the baby every few hours to make sure that, well, you know. Ah, the memories. And how the hell did dads cope in the past with no Internet to get them through the night?!?! (My wife says exactly the same although for her it's Netmums and not SC, no matter how much I try to get her to join!!!)
