That explains why Hatton's career took a sharp downturn then...

I'm going to be pessimistic here - I can't see us getting Llorente or Adebayor. I don't think the former will be sold, and I don't think the latter will be sold to us. It's a shame because Llorente would surely make Modric think twice about wanting to leave.

Samba might make him reconsider for different reasons entirely!

Lots of interesting itk today, but i remember you guys that tomorrow its friday again and another week has gone by withour our awaited signings.... Yet again a terrible transfer window:bang:

If Adebayor and Diarra are part of the B & Y nonsense then I can't see any need for cryptic.
We've been linked with them before and they're both regularly linked with us in the press I just can't see a good reason for the cryptic.

It wasn't those two exclusively as Diarra would of been blue and POTL said that blue was most likely to be a loan otion - I doubt that would be Diarra.
Blue was definitely Adebayor.

i agree we have no competition for lennon and one of major signings for us has to be a winger type, tahts why i was all for mata. wud have been unreal signing who covers alot of positions but i feel 100% now we will get affellay at end of window. i can just sense it. he stands no chance at barca and will be loaned out.

bentley is pure manure. i will actually be shoked if anyone comes in for him. i wud not have him in my 7 a side kickabouts every week. someone deserves shooting for signing him for spurs.

he said towards beginning of week he expects to get in one or 2 in next week or so. sounded very confident imo. Even if it was only diarra i wud be delighted.

Yes agree POTL comes across as a bit of a twat, great you've got a mate who works at Spurs, doesn't make you Levy though.

But I digress, can't see Ady happening at all. They wouldn't even consider selling Bellamy to us last season and would rather pay his wages and send him to Cardiff. No matter what people think we are still one of their main rivals for a CL place this season and they will not help us out by giving us what we need. A striker who can (underlined because it totally depends on if he can be arsed or not) score 20 goals a season in the Prem. Secondly we're not going to pay that type of wage and he doesn't seem the type to take a pay cut.

Where does that leave us? 1 week to go and still with the Fantastic 4 (Crouch definitely Mr Fantastic), now people have been slating them for last season but they can score goals, it will be hard to upgrade. Personally I'd chuck £10m at Man Utd and ask for Berba back or go all in for Leandro.

POTL works at spurs Lilbaz in some sort of capacity. He doesnt get vetted by Donna Cullen as previously mentioned. I have a very good idea who he is too.
