He also played AM for portsmouth at times when Harry went Muntari left and taylor iircHe played Left Midfield for Portsmouth, just as he did for us before we discovered Gareth Bale.

Well he played Mendes or The Wardrobe in midfield with Diarra and Utaka on the right and Muntari on the left, he played Kranjcar in the hole because the other two tracked back moreMuntari played CM with Diarra. Taylor got dropped for Krancjar and then sold
If he did play there it was down to injuries/regulars. Mendes and Diop weren't regularsWell he played Mendes or The Wardrobe in midfield with Diarra and Utaka on the right and Muntari on the left, he played Kranjcar in the hole because the other two tracked back more

Bouba DiopThe Wardrobe?
Agree. Such a good point it had to be posted twice!
Also, if harry really is stirring things up via the media, i cant see how levy can/will do anything other than sack him.
As we know levy is no mug and will not be held to ransom. Especially from the clubs own manager
You guys are all making the points that were central to my argument for wanting Harry out.
Amazing really... You made such a convincing post without even mentioning Defoe. You guys are all making the points that were central to my argument for wanting Harry out.
The squad did everything they could for 3rd, they wanted it bad - hell they wanted the title even!
Harry didn't use the squad.
Pienaar he played in bits and pieces in the wrong positions.
Kranjcar hardly featured, when Modric broke his leg Kranjcar was central to us going on a great run and I'll never forgot his 10/10 performance vs City at WHL that was the end for Mark Hughes. Even last season Kranjcar had a few super-sub moments but you could see that he was never gonna get a fair run.
Bassong was also virtually an every-present when we got 4th then in the CL season he got dropped and played irregularly which led to some really poor performances (Young Boys away, Blackpool away, Fulham away FA cup).
Corluka is an international and a solid and steady player who was in our first team for 2 years, in the end him going on loan saw Kyle Walker play when injured and not up to his usual standard...and in turn miss out on the Euros.
I refuse to believe these guys all became shit players over-night, and equally I refuse to believe it was Harry who made some of them good players in the first place.
I know sometimes the papers and ITKs come under question but the recent stuff about Levy being concerned why Pienaar was so good at Everton and Harry can't get that from him, and Harry's talk of "being brave" and spending big in the window...when he doesn't use the players he has...its all so valid.
Its so clear that if you put this squad under a manager who can incentivise a squad by rotating and providing genuine competition for places...this squad could challenge for the title (maybe not win it...but give a damn good run for the top 2). And before the smart arses come along...a manager who does this would also change up the squad which could help it not produce the horror show we had Feb onwards
And how would you respond to the point that despite the bollocks we made of most of the eight games that followed the Immigrants fiasco, we still ended up with the 8th-best points total in the last 61 years? (Following on from 2009-10, which was the 6th-best.) Do you recall the last time things were as good in the league as they have been since 05-06—excluding the interlude when that useless **** Ramos was in charge, of course?
I do.
What a fucking hoot. Having been asked for his response to a factual statement, HybridSoldier answers by disagreeing with it, and punky follows suit. The deep thinkers really are out in force tonight.
Like, duh.

Good player is Sigurdsson, but I'd rather get Afellay for the same price.
Why have people started to talk like Yoda? Has ITK linked us to Darth Vader or something?Sigurdsson would be decent addition to the squad. Don't think first XI for our ambitions though, but a lot of potential and talent has this guy. Could fill in in every position in a offensive midfield

Having read your recent posts, SS57 (and making no comment regarding their rights and wrongs), I am forced to an inescapable conclusion: you are even more of a grumpy fucker than I am.What a fucking hoot.
