All his ambiguous comments lately might have been hints on a new, improved contract and transfer budget. Hint to dearest Daniel. I suspect that's what he got today as a reward for delivering what was asked of him - CL going into the new stadium.

We've been stuck in an assurances ITK loop for a while. Players wanting ambition and Poch's future assurances before new contracts. Poch wanting ambition and funding assurances before agreeing any new deal. Levy wanting CL status assurances before signing off on any money items. With CL tied up that ideally breaks the loop and lets everything start to fall into place. I am sure our scouts, agents, and recruiters are working hard but I think it would be optomistic to assume that means a big thing has been finalized as many clubs around Europe are still trying to figure out their own loops ahead of this weekend.
