I could actually see Berahino making the bench if he's signed and registered in time for Saturday. I think a player of his explosivity would be useful as a late sub. He is also already familiar with the 4231 and working with Kane.

The Goat has heard that both Adebayor and Soldado have cleared out their lockers. Also that both departures are expected by the weekend but the club want it done sooner rather than later.

We are hoping to bring Werner to watch the United game on Saturday and this on Berahino (from two sources), firstly, that he's been to the training ground and also that we could have him signed by Saturday.

Was hoping we had a few signed before the weekend, not inviting one to the game and other might sign and not be able to play. We did so well getting the defenders in quick, we just seem to slow with dm and forward and winger/forward players

FWIW, a friend posted on his facebook earlier that he saw Adebayor near the training ground. He was angry because he took it to mean he was staying with us. I commented that he was probably just there to say goodbye and clear out his stuff as the players weren't there.

He says Adebayor was driving a Mercedes GL - the big SUV thingy.
