I think it was wishful thinking from the mods....the cryptic could've been "we have had a bid accepted for fabio contrao,the left back from Real Madrid" and people would still somehow think its about Gareth bale.

I couldn't see where Eriksen would fit into a 4/3/3....especially if the midfield 3 are Paulinho/Sandro/Dembele

Huh? He is a 4/3/3 CM, that's the formation that he plays for Ajax and would play for us.

Whether we need a CM is a different question but he definitely "fits" in a 4-3-3.

Leaving Toby A ( Belgium ) and Eriksen ( Danish ). Maybe Fischer but have we had any ITK on him ?
