The only way to stop these stories, is by us signing a few giving the intent what we means business. The longer we don't sign anyone the longer stories will keep appearing.

Well good morning and a honkeytonkbadonkadonk to all of you.
Despite Ryan's optimism I still can't see much happening this week. I still think there are too many players who wouldn't be in our first or second team that we need to get rid of before we go splashing the cash. We really need buyers for Hutton, Bassong, Bentley, Jenas, Dos Santos and Keane...and we need them soon!

He's a CB, and occasionally a RB. He's never played at LB for Rangers the entire time he's been up here.
He would be 6th choice behind King, Gallas, Daws, Kaboul and Bassong to be honest. I can't see any point in signing him at all. He's also ballooned in weight over the last year, god knows how big he would get if he wasn't playing every week.

Don't forget Bassong could end up being sold and King will most likely spend most of the season in the physio room as always.

Didn't that football agent9 guy on twitter say something about leandro :shrug: so I'm guessing he would be the in and hutton the out
On another note whilst I'm happy about levy's stance I still think this modric saga aint over by a long way, and until modric himself comes and says he's happy and staying ala rooney in january I think we're going to be reading stuff everyday about it

Along with Wes Brown too so Bruce has really gone about his business quickly which must be commended and fair play to Niall Quinn as welll.

He honestly doesn't strike me as a player that would be happy to be on the bench let alone 4th or 5th in the pecking order though.
I think it would be a mistake if we got him, he's really not that good and has been getting worse over the past 2 seasons. Unsurprisingly, it coincides with him turning into stay puff from Ghostbusters.
