Got a bit of ITK I thought I would share as I'm new to the community... Make of what you wish lads.

I work with a brother of a Swansea player and he was told a few things about Caulker...

Apparently he has a huge attitude problem and has really poor discipline in terms of drinking, all that on top of a gambling problem.

Like I said make of it what you wish but will be interesting to see if this will hinder his progress into our first team or will he be another GDS

iirc there was something in the media about caulker making some trouble in town after drinking when he was with swansea?

Edit: here it is http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-south-west-wales-15621008

To be fair, at least all this blue and yellow nonsense has us talking about footy again. Before blue and yellow reared it's head we even had to resort to discussing midget sex yesterday.....

Don't use words such as 'reared' or 'head' when trying to prevent people talking about sex!

I've responded to stuff like this before, but I'll do so again here just to say I'm incredibly surprised by that, as in my previous job I had dealings with staff at Yeovil and the reporter who covered Bristol City, and they both described Caulker as an exceptional character, not interested in drinking or the trappings of a footballer's lifestyle, and who off his own back went to great lengths to keep in touch with people at Yeovil after his loan had expired. Everyone I've spoken to about Caulker has been really impressed by his attitude and behaviour. Perhaps this new side has developed since he went to Swansea...

I didn't happen to see that but this is what I've heard so hopefully it will be knocked out of him because he looks a genuine prospect to (dare I say) attempt to proceed the King

Perhaps it has more to do with Swansea the town rather than the individual himself.

I HOPE it was false but the person would have absolute no reason to lie and that is quite a possibility that the sudden upshot in fame or what have you may have spurred the change on.
Guess we will have to wait and see!

Why would POTL use blue as in the CLUBcolour and yellow as the NATIONALteamcolour?

Think its to do with how people will see each player.
We did see Ade play most weeks in the blue for City, but dont think many would know what kit Inter play in. Also Leandro has been talked about more as Brazil's striker than Inter's on the forums.

Whoever asked why POTL uses blue and yellow and not Adebayor and Leandro, count the number of responses about blue and yellow and you have the answer to your question #ego

Football's full of uncertainties, but you can be sure that this will never happen...

...he may succeed him if he works hard though ;)

Look he is 20, like every 20 year old he probably drinks far more then he should. But that is not a sign of a bad attitude problem.
If you are a professional footballer at the highest level you shouldn't be drinking "far more than you should". That's a sign of bad attitude in the football world IMO, although I don't think this is the case for Caulker.

His attitude is fine towards training and he conducts himself brilliantly in training. Does think hes big time when he was out in swansea though but what young footballer doesnt these days. I will also say he is the only one of the swansea players apart from sinclair thats willing to stop and pose for pictures when he is out. What i mean by does thinks hes big time he does use the do you know who i am line quite often :)

I have seen him out in swansea on numerous occasions and only once did i ever see him drinking that was the night he was arrested normally drinks J20 or water. Unless they have a week off or they are taking a lady friend for a meal.

The gambling problem well if you class a gambling problem as 6 or 7 of the swansea players going to aspires the casino in swansea once maybe twice a week to cure the boredom you forget these lads are young boys that have more money than sense they have to find a way to use/waste some of it. Maximum i have ever seen a swansea player gamble was £2000 and that was one of the better off earners of the swansea team playing roulette not Caulker.

Will also add Rodgers opinion on Caulker : "plays with the head of a experienced centre half thats played hundreds of games amazing to think he is only 20 years old with his best years ahead of him if he stays injury free he will go to lead england's defensive line from years to come"

Would not be surprised when liverpool sell Agger if they come knocking for caulker immediately or he even trys to loan him again Rodgers absolutely loves him

I would absolutely love to loan them Caulker, a sure sign that we're the club in a better position. It would piss off their fans to the max like Villa fans when we loaned them Walker. What made that even better was the deluded knobs were convinced it was because they had an option to buy.
