Here's the thing to those thinking this game will make the whole football world go crazy for him, if they're not interested already they're not going to suddenly bid £30million on the back of one game. Not to mention Llorente wants out and that will catch the attention of the big clubs, more than Leandro scoring twice.

What about claiming we were after a bundesliga player with the initials BM. JJ saying he had the initials wrong, Akqavid claiming he had made a typo, then a couple of weeks later saying he in fact meant BM as Bayern Munich and the player was Muller??

I'm not doubting Akqavid hears stuff but that was a f*ck up IMO

But doesn't that suggest that Akqayid was on the right track with a bit of unusual ITK (if JJ was conforming it but correcting the detail), even if he'd got his wires a little crossed.

And that in a game against what many would describe as a fairly average opponent

I'm glad we don't do all our deals at the beginning of this window. This thread is far more exciting a read than 50 shades of blue and yellow.... I mean grey.
We have the highs, lows and now the dumb. We do need a rating for "chill, we've got this".
All we need now is for bayern to make a bid for ade.
thanks all you itk, without you we'd have to do some work.

Got a bit of ITK I thought I would share as I'm new to the community... Make of what you wish lads.

I work with a brother of a Swansea player and he was told a few things about Caulker...

Apparently he has a huge attitude problem and has really poor discipline in terms of drinking, all that on top of a gambling problem.

Like I said make of it what you wish but will be interesting to see if this will hinder his progress into our first team or will he be another GDS

I think this day and age it's going to happen. The kind of money these young men earn is going to have an affect on them.

Imagine what previous generations of footballers would have been like if they had been earning this sort of money!

Gazza would have been sat by the corner flag rocking away with tears rolling down his face and a bottle of JD in one hand.

Ziege would have had skin laser treatment to clear up his face.

Linekar would have had his ears pinned back so he wouldn't have blown away when there was a gust of wind.

Ginola would have had the fluffiest, bounciest hair in all the land. Oh no wait, he did!

If llorente is up for grabs unfortunately there will be too many big cats prowling around for us to even get close, great great player, him and falcao would be the dream signing, think the club will do well to secure Leandro, that is unless levy decides to through some serious cash around!!

we can't afford llorente, maybe if he was 3 or 4 years younger it might be a goer, not at 27 though.

Just a random quote I found from a site about Damiao (It helped me with clarification on the two guys who reported Damiao to Spurs as I wasn't familiar with Lopes really):

Link: http://www.101greatgoals.com/blog/t...scores-twice-for-brazil-v-south-korea-video/?

The rumours have been rife for years now but it finally looks like Tottenham will sign Leandro Damiao in the coming weeks.
Having been linked with the Internacional striker for two years, reports in recent days suggest a Spurs deal is closer with Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas keen to tie up a striker before the Premier League season kicks off.
Reports in the Sunday Mirror and Daily Mail over recent days were supplemented this evening by respected journalist Duncan Castles and Goncalo Lopes, a Portuguese reporter known to be close to AVB, claiming Tottenham’s deal for Damiao is almost done.

Our hounding Of him over the last few years must count for something, must've had an effect on him. Now, with a Portuguese manager, perhaps we are an even more appealing prospect.

I've always liked the sound of him, and his current prominence and some (cautiously) optimistic itk make me think that this could just be a great coup for us this time round...
