Where we hearing that Alderweireld is almost done? I personally think Levy’s played hardball and will only deal if Martial included. But I’ve no idea who the other of the minimum 2 signings @Breezer was alluding to.

I think it's been on the cards all summer. Would be amazed if we land Martial and I'd expect that we'd rather sell Toby to anyone else but there aren't many takers. Levy is a pragmatist and a deal-maker. We'll get £50m+ and invest most of it in a replacement (deLigt?).

That plus Grealish.

And I hope for one more - but it needs Levy to be brave and get the outgoings done later, without any guarantee beyond Thursday.

Still prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt until 5pm on Thursday.

I came straight from the player thread for him to see his post, which to be honest I assumed was a direct response to. I actually think he edited the bit on after I first read it.
